Changan Elementary School is excited to be part of the 112th academic year bilingual education plan. We are focusing on adding English to our Integrative Activities subject (綜合科目). The goal is to help our teachers and students use more English in their daily lessons.

Our teachers work together to share ideas and learn from each other. We also invite experts to help our teachers improve their English teaching skills. This way, our students can learn English in a fun and effective way.

At Changan Elementary, we use English not only in the classroom but also during daily activities. The principal and all teachers greet students in English during morning meetings, after-school activities, and when students leave for the day. We also have English language posters in every classroom to remind everyone to use English as much as possible. Teachers and staff regularly check to see how well English is being used throughout the school.

This program is for our 5th and 6th graders. Every Wednesday is English Day, where English teachers lead 10-minute sessions. These sessions cover topics like holidays, ceremonies, good manners, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Each week, we introduce a new English phrase for students to practice during recess, with teachers helping them learn and use it.

On Fridays, we have English picture book reading time. During this time, students read English picture books to improve their reading skills. This helps them become better at reading and understanding English.

Changan Elementary School is dedicated to creating a bilingual environment where students can learn and use English every day. We believe this will help our students prepare for the future and succeed in a global world.

長安國小很高興能參加112學年度的部分領域雙語教育計畫。我們正專注於在綜合領域科目中加入英語，目標是幫助我們的老師和學生在日常課堂中更多地使用英語。

我們的老師會一起分享想法，互相學習。我們還邀請專家來幫助老師提高英語教學的技巧。這樣，我們的學生可以用有趣且有效的方式學習英語。

在長安國小，我們不僅在課堂上使用英語，還在日常活動中使用。校長和所有老師在晨會、課後活動，以及學生放學時，都會用英語和學生打招呼。我們還在每間教室張貼了英語用語的海報，提醒大家盡可能多地使用英語。老師和工作人員會定期檢查，看看英語在校園中的使用情況。

這個計畫主要針對五、六年級的學生。每週三是英語日，英語老師會帶領10分鐘的英語課程，這些課程涵蓋節日、儀式、禮儀以及聯合國永續發展目標（SDGs）等主題。每週我們會介紹一句新的英語短句，鼓勵學生在下課時間練習，並由老師協助學習和使用。

每週五是班級的英語繪本閱讀時間，學生會閱讀英語繪本，以提高他們的閱讀能力。這有助於他們更好地閱讀和理解英語。
